CDRUK take the issue of Copyright in work we manufacture very seriously.
We require all clients to certify, through the completion of our Customers Copyright Certificate, that they are the copyright owner of the work to be reproduced, or that if they are not the copyright owner that they have the licensing rights, and authorise CDRUK to the manufacture their disc on their behalf.
Clients must ensure that all work supplied for manufacture does not infringe any applicable laws or third party intellectual property rights.
You must provide a track listing with timings with your master for all CD Audio/DVD Audio products and a file listing for all CD ROM/DVD ROM.
In addition, copies of all licences must be supplied in respect of any music, software or other works subject to copyright and clients will be asked to indemnify CDRUK for any loss suffered as a result of a third party claim against the company for any infringement of copyright or intellectual property rights. |
If your disc contains music then you will need to seek the appropriate Licence or Notification of No Claim from the Mechanical Copyright Protection Society (MCPS) along with any applicable sound recording licences from rights owners prior to production. If you have produced your own music you may also wish to consider adding International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) to your recordings. ISRC can be permanently encoded into a product acting as its digital fingerprint and providing the means to automatically identify recordings for royalty payments.
